Eligibility criteria of Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2017
To get admission in any above mentioned courses you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. Under the age criteria the applier’s age should be between 17 to 21 years. This criterion is differing on the basis of course. For the Engineering Programs appliers should scored 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics along with any one of these subjects (Chemistry/ Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics, Computer) and 40% for reserved categories in 12th standard.
For the Pharmacy/Science programs applicants must have 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology & English as language subjects and must have scored 50% in PCB group (40% for reserved categories). For the BAMS, BUMS, BNYS & BHMS, B.V. Sc. & A.H courses 50% in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects in 12th standard. To apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2017 contenders have to pay the application fee. This fee may vary on the basis of category. General category appliers have to pay Rs. 650/- and SC / ST contenders have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee. This fee can be paid through the bank challan. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET 2017 exam will be scheduled on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th may 2017.
