NDA Eligibility Criteria 2017
Union public service commission is going to conduct the National Defense Academy entrance exam. This exam is held twice in a year. So if you want to apply for this exam you should check your eligibility first. After checking your eligibility you should fill the application for the exam. In year 2017 this exam will be held on 23rd April, 2017 known as NDA (I) and on 10th September, 2017 is known as NDA (II). Contenders who want to apply for this entrance exam must follow some eligibility criteria. Under the required criteria candidate must be a citizen of India. A subject of Nepal / a subject of Bhutan / a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply for this exam. The aspirant whose age is for NDA (I) exam candidates should be born not before 2nd July, 1998 and not after 1st July, 2001 for NDA (II) exam students should not be born before 2nd January, 1999 and not after 1st January, 2002 are eligible to apply.
There is also need to academic qualification to apply for this exam. Under which candidates must have 12th class or its equivalent university which is organized by the state Education Board or a University. The candidates who want to apply in Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA must do their 12th standard in with Physics and Mathematics subjects. And For Army Wing of National Defense Academy they have 12th standard certificate in any subjects.
There is also required Physical Standards to apply for the NDA exam. Under which contender must be physically fit. He did not suffer from any major ailments. Below describe minor ailments table. Except these ailments if contender suffers from any other ailments he will not be eligible for this exam. This physical test will be done in the Military Hospital. The tables of the minor ailments are as follows.

Contenders will be selected on the basis of written test. Those contenders who qualify the written exam will call for the next stage. The application fee for this exam is Rs. 100/-. This fee will be paid through via online mode. SC/ST candidates and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs and SC/ST candidates are exempted from examination fee.
