Preliminary Exam Syllabus
- Mental Ability Test
- Picture Perception and Discussion Test
Mental Ability Test(MAT): All questions in MAT exam will be from following topics General Awareness, Basic Physics, Basic Chemistry, Current Affairs (National and International), Sports, Budget and Five Year Plans, Major financial and Economic News, Awards and Honors, Abbreviations, Books and Authors, Important Days, Famous personalities, Science – Inventions and Discoveries, International and National Organizations.
Test of Reasoning: Verbal: Questions on Number Series, Alphabet Series questions, Coding-Decoding, Test of Direction Sense, Arithmetical Reasoning, Number Ranking, Blood Relations, Problem on Age Calculation, Decision Making etc, Analogy. Non-Verbal: Mirror Images, Non Verbal Series, Grouping Identical Figures, Cubes and Dice, Embedded Figures etc.
Picture Perception and Discussion Test: In this test you have a picture is given to you and you can observe the given picture for 30 minutes. After completion of 30 minutes candidate have to write a creative essay within duration of 4 minutes.
Final selection Process Syllabus
- Thematic Apperception Test– Here PPT of 30 seconds is given to you and they will ask to write a story with in duration of 4 minutes.
- Word Association Test– Officials will provide you 60 words and you have to form a meaningful sentence with these words.
- Situation Reaction Test– In this session you have to write your reactions about a given situations.
- Self Description– Participant has to describe themselves within 15 minutes.
