Eligibility Required for JEE Advanced 2017:
If you want to apply for the exam you have to fulfilled eligibility criteria. Under which contender must be born on or after 1st October 1992. Age relaxation will be given to SC/PWD/ST contenders up to 5 years i.e. they born on or after 1st October 1987. Candidate must have academic criteria under which he must be passed in Class XII or its equivalent examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017. Aspirants whose Class XII or equivalent examination Board results for the academic year 2014-15 were declared after June 2015 are also eligible to appear in this exam.
Other important information regarding JEE Advanced 2017:
Appliers can apply for this exam only two times in consecutive years. If any applicant who apply for this exam first time in 2016 then he is also eligible for the JEE Advanced 2017 for last time. To apply for this exam contenders also have to pay application money. The fee is different for different categories for Female/ SC/ST/PWD Candidates it is rupees 1200/-, for All Other category Candidates it is 2400/-. The late fee charges are rupees 500/-.the fee is pay through online mode. The two exams will be taken consecutively named as paper 1 and paper 2. Each exam is for 3 hours. It is scheduled in morning and afternoon.
